Homeopathic Treatment of Lyme

First Aid

For animals who have recently been bitten (after the tick has been removed), some holistic veterinarians suggest using a nosode (a remedy made from the actual borrelia burgdorferi) in a 30C potency.

Example of the First Aid dosing procedure:

Borellia burgdorferi nosode 30C

One dose (1 pellet) given three times daily for three days

It is thought that if the remedy is given in the earliest stages, it may stop the disease from developing.

Ledum Palustre 1M

Example Dosing Protocol:

In the treatment of Lyme Disease: One pellet of Ledum 1M is given three times a day, for three days

Homeoprophylaxis for Prevention in High Risk Areas

Homeoprophylaxis, is the homeopathic alternative to conventional vaccines.

Borrellia burgdorferi 30C

This is a homeopathic nosode, that is being used as a preventative.

Example dose:

One 30C pellet is given daily for one week, then one pellet a week for one month, then one dose every six months.

IMPORTANT

In the treatment of Lyme Disease we strongly suggest working with a DVM for critical situations.

Don’t be a homeopathic martyr — if you don’t see good results within a reasonable amount of time after using a remedy you should always consult a professional.

Nosodes are also available for kennel cough, parvovirus, feline leukemia, feline infectious peritonitis and other common dog and cat diseases.

We have been using this method of protection for several years with very satisfactory results and without the side effects and illness associated with vaccine use.

However, you must keep in mind, just as there is no guarantee a conventional vaccine will protect an animal, the same goes for the use of a nosode.

And NEVER use mixed should be used as a single remedy only and only used if the pet is at high risk for the disease.

Note: The Borrellia burgdorferi nosode can be purchased from Helios Pharmacy, located in London, Great Britain, who ships internationally to most (though not all) countries.
